Help Grow Our Garden!
In 2018 Trinity Gardens:
Taught over 800 local school children about planting and growing during our Spring and Fall field trips
Donated over 2,300 pounds of food to community members in need
Provided garden and cooking education to hundreds in our community
In 2019 we hope to develop garden education and exploration spaces that can be accessed by visitors as well as utilized with school groups. Inspired by gardens such as Fairview Gardens in Goleta and Life Lab in Santa Cruz, Trinity Gardens imagines a vibrant, diverse growing area planted with heritage and native plants, as well as edible landscapes and garden beds for experimenting. We plan to offer kid-friendly and ADA accessible raised beds, an accessible outdoor gathering space for groups, a sensory garden, integrate aquaponics, and include a pollinator garden.
We hope to raise $5,000 to start developing the initial infrastructure and another $5,000 for maintaining the space annually.
